Ethan- The Big 5!

I can't believe it has been five years since Steve and I were alone in our family. For some reason this birthday has been really hard on me. I think because the days were the same as the year he was born and I could remember everything like it was yesterday. My baby boy just seem to have grown up when I wasn't looking!! We were able to make his day a very great day. We didn't get to do anything way too big because we didn't have lots of money, but Steve came up with a treasure hunt for Ethan to get his birthday presents. Later that night we were able to have family come over to have cake and ice cream. It was a great day for Ethan plus he was able to have a friend party that following Saturday. Picture to come soon. Here are pictures of the fun day that was had by the birthday boy.
Getting measured. It's a tradition I wanted to do every year on our kids birthday to see how much they have grown in a whole year.
He is 3ft and about 6 inches. That's our growing boy.

Summer

We have been doing somethings this past summer and I, Sharifa, am so sorry that I haven't posted a lot. Because I haven't posted for a few weeks we have a lot of pictures to post. We were able to go up to Idaho one weekend in July to spend some time with the McClaskey family at a reunion. That would be my aunts, uncles, and cousins. We really had lots of fun with my sister and her kids, plus all of my cousins' kids too. After the reunion the kids and I stayed at my parents house for the following week and enjoyed the fun that we had. We got to experience Daisy's first hair cut and she did pretty well, if I do say so myself. I came home to go out on a date with Steve to see Batman The Dark Knight Rises premiere for free!!!! It's was so awesome!! Then we were able to spend some time at Steve's parents house and had some fun with our nephew/cousin Beckett. He is such a cute little guy and we brought Ethan's old Buzz Lightyear swimming suit and it looked so cute on him. I hope you will stay and look at all the pictures and please feel free to make comments on the cute/funny pictures!

He was sort of used to it by now. He was funny at home cause he didn't want to mess up his nice hair duo.

I really love this picture, but Steve thinks her head looks to big for her body. What do you think?
We really love this picture. It seems like she is saying, "Are we done yet? If you're going to keep torturing me, here is what you get~~!!"
