So I know I'm a little late with this post, but I want to get it posted anyways because I have a lot to be truly thankful for. The biggest blessing in my life is my wonderful family! I love them and I am so blessed to have such wonderful spirits in my home.
Lately I've been thinking about the little phrase, "why me?". Most of the time I say this when I am going through a rough time, but a few days ago I thought of this phrase. Instead of why did this awful thing happen to me, I thought "why me", why do I get to be so blessed to have a wonderful family?
I have a husband that would do anything (and does everything) for his family. Every day he makes such huge sacrifices to make sure that we are taken care of. He is so wonderful and takes care of me when I'm not at my best. I know that I can be a big burden, but he never complains and just does things that help me out. He tries in every way to keep me happy and makes sure to spend time with his kids. Oh my how I'm blessed to have him for time and all eternity. I love you Steve!!!
I am blessed to be the mother of 3 wonderful, healthy, and active kids. each one with their own individual personality. They teach me about our Heavenly Father's love for us and how hard it is to be a parent with kids that don't want to do what they're asked. Even though it's hard I still feel so blessed.
I'm also blessed to have extended family that help and support my family. My parents are so great and willing to help me with anything I ask. My mother has always been a great person in my life and I'm so grateful that I'm able to call her to cry or complain about life. She is always there with an open ear, Thank you mom, I appreciate that more than you know. I also have great in-laws that help me also, and are willing to watch my kids so I can get errands done. I'm just so blessed and grateful for all the things I do have. thanks for reading and I hope you all can be grateful for the things you all have.

You are the best mom around and you have the cutest family!
You are awesome Sharifa. I love the "why me" part. I never thought of it that way! I have thought of "why me" when times are tough and then I think "why not me?" and that helps too. You are so wonderful. Your family is beautiful. And one day they will listen perfectly...I hope that is true for us! xoxo
