Daisy is 2!!!!

So our little princess just recently turned 2 and she got to have two little parties for her birthday. We were in Wyoming for her actual birthday so we wanted to have a little cake and ice cream to celebrate with her cousins. It turned out to be a fun filled day for her and for the rest of us too! Aunt Joy took us to a children's museum where we all had lots of fun and then we went out to lunch. We had a wonderful dinner followed by some yummy chocolate cake. The cousins just loved seeing her face more than eating the cake or ice cream, all except for Maverick. He's just like Ethan and got right in on the yummy cake. The next week we had our Grandparents (both sets) come over for presents, more cake, and ice cream. We also invited a couple of Aunts and Uncles that lived near by. It turned out to be such a great night and Miss Daisy got spoiled rotten by everyone (by those who were not there too!). Here are a few pictures of the two eventful evenings.
Daisy with her cake listening to us sing to her.
Licking off the frosting on the butterfly.
Taking her first bite of actual cake. (sorry about the fuzziness of the picture)
Enjoying her cake.
Every year (starting @ the age of 2) Sharifa's parents lets their grand kids take handfuls of money out of the birthday bank. This was Daisy's first year and we think she really enjoyed it!
She really enjoyed putting the money back in the bank through the little slot on top more than just putting it in a Ziploc bag. (BTW- she made out like a little bandit!)
Ethan trying to get in on helping Daisy open gifts. Cousin Beckett just enjoying his freedom. He is just a cute little guy and we think he really enjoyed all the cool things, especially the Elmo balloon Daisy had.
Daisy trying out her new piano.
Grandpa Mike getting in on all the picture taking action. Oh Grandpa!!
Ethan actually getting to help unwrap Daisy's gift.
Daisy is just so in love with Elmo so we sort of had an Elmo themed party. (We're really not into having themed parties when our kids are just so young.) Once Sharifa saw this cake she just had to get it for Daisy. He was one of the first characters she recognized.
She really just wants the cake, stop singing!!
All ready to eat! YEAH!!!!
Our little Elmo clown.
Frosting is all gone. "I'm done!" She did get a little bit of cake.
